I am curious as to how many iPhone apps I have tried since I bought an iPhone this time, last year. Many positive and negative changes and improvements in the the last 12 months with both the hardware and software.
Three months ago, I jumped on the iPhone 3Gs bandwagon. Yes, stood in line on the day it was released and waited for 3 hours before getting my phone. The updates for me from my first generation iPhone was GPS, video function recording and the MMS which came a little later.
One thing I’ve noticed since the release of the iPhone 3Gs is that more and more app developers started to utilize the screen rotating function which DRIVES ME CRAZY!
I spend loots of time on my iPhone in the morning when I wake up and right before I fall asleep. But with these new apps with auto rotations, it is impossible to get anything done on my phone while laying on my side. I used to be able to reply to emails and send text messages with no problems.
Now, the Mail, and SMS apps both rotate when the iPhone is turned side ways. Productivity in bed, FAIL.
So I guess this is a request. Apple? Do you think you could make that an setting we can change? You know, for those who choose to be tied to the Internet, 24/7. Thanks.
